Apply for Repairs to Your Home
To qualify for assistance from Rebuilding Together, the homeowner must live on a low-fixed income and live and own the home for which repairs are needed. The work will be performed for homeowners who are financially or physically unable to complete this work on their own. If family members are able, they work together with the volunteers. All work is performed at no cost to the homeowner.
Rebuilding Together welcomes referrals from friends and neighbors, churches, town offices, social workers, civic associations, etc.
Homeowners must complete an application to be considered to receive help. Check here to download a copy. Those who need help filling out the forms should call Rebuilding Outreach coordinator, Lisa Castonguay at 633-4994 or 272-4935. A volunteer will visit the homeowner to assist.. Applications are also available for pick-up at Griffin Law Offices, 59 Atlantic Avenue in Boothbay Harbor.
Completed applications with attached documentation should be mailed to PO Box 22, Boothbay Harbor 04538 or returned in person to Sarah Giles at Griffin Law Offices.
Spring work will be performed each year on a Saturday in May. Winter work will be performed each year on the 1st Saturday in October. Emergencies may be handled on a case-by-case basis depending on availability of volunteers and funds.
